At the end of 2007, US Airways stopped offering a status match program. For a short time, they were willing to sell temporary Elite status and offer an American-type challenge program. But as of this writing, even that has been taken away. Add to that the elimination of Elite level bonuses and it’s easy to understand why business travelers have not been happy with US Airways in 2008.
